The Remodeling Process

We invite you to call and schedule an appointment with one of our designers so we can give you our full attention during your visit. Your initial consultation is complimentary. If you’re nearby, feel free to drop by our showroom without an appointment—there’s always someone here to greet you with a cold drink and answer any general questions you may have.

For a formal showroom meeting, we encourage you to bring along anything that inspires you, whether it’s magazine clippings, photos, or a favorite piece of art. Every kitchen should reflect your personal style and the character of your home, and we’ll work with you to discover how to bring that vision to life. We’ll also take time to discuss your expectations, budget, and appliance preferences. During your visit, we will introduce you to our semi-custom and full custom cabinet lines, and you’ll leave with a comprehensive packet of information to review at your convenience.

During your initial home visit, your designer will take detailed measurements and photos of your kitchen while assessing your home’s plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems. But creating your ideal kitchen goes beyond the technical details. We consider the view from your foyer, your lifestyle—whether casual or formal—and whether you love to display collections. We pay attention to how much sunlight your kitchen receives and whether easy access to your deck is important to you. These thoughtful considerations ensure your new kitchen will not only fit your space but will also reflect your family’s lifestyle and the way you truly live in your home.

Choosing the Details That Make It Yours

Once you and your designer have selected your cabinetry and placed a down payment, we will begin the exciting process of bringing your vision to life. Next, we will personally guide you to local suppliers to select the materials that will complete your space. From hardware and plumbing fixtures to countertops, flooring, and backsplash tile, we will help you choose options that fit your style and lifestyle while educating you on product performance and maintenance. Our goal is to ensure your selections are as practical as they are beautiful, protecting your investment for years to come. Throughout this process, your designer will review every detail with you and answer any questions, ensuring you feel confident and supported each step of the way.

Bringing Your Vision to Life

During this exciting phase, you will sit down with your designer to review a thoughtfully crafted floor plan for your new kitchen or bath, complete with perspectives and elevations that help you visualize the space. We will also walk through product selections and pricing, ensuring you understand your options clearly. Together, you and your designer will refine the plan to reflect your unique style and needs, whether that means adjusting the layout for better flow, selecting cabinetry styles and finishes, or adding specialized storage solutions—all while staying within your budget. By the end of this meeting, you will have a clear picture of your project and the confidence you need to make informed decisions as you move forward toward your beautiful new space.

We Are Here For You.

Auer Kitchens services all warranties for your kitchen, except for appliances. We provide a one-year warranty on the workmanship and materials we supply, effective from your project’s completion date. Our cabinetry typically carries a 10-year warranty, and many parts come with a lifetime warranty.

Building Your Dream, Stress-Free

At Auer Kitchens, we’ve earned a reputation for making the construction process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We understand that remodeling can feel disruptive, which is why we take extra steps to ease the stress and help you stay excited about your new kitchen or bath.

We can help set up a temporary kitchen for you, providing a microwave, hot plate, and even fresh cold and hot filtered water so you can maintain your daily routine.
To protect your home, we install dust control barriers and cover floors and furnishings, keeping the rest of your house clean and comfortable during construction.
At the end of each workday, we tidy and clean the workspace so you can admire the progress without the mess.
Throughout your project, you’ll build a strong, trusting relationship with your dedicated Auer Kitchens staff carpenter, who will oversee your remodel, keep you informed about progress and scheduling, and address any concerns you may have.
Your designer will remain involved during the construction phase, visiting the job site and collaborating with your carpenters to ensure your vision is brought to life exactly as planned.
